English Premier Transfer: Summer Result

Summer transfer window for English premiere league club has been closed. With some surprising movement, and some other a bit dubious decision. This is the recap of some biggest transfer, not only from the money involved, but mainly from their expected influence and contribution for their new club.

Summer transfer recap started from defending champion, MU. Finished their summer transfer with young guns, De Gea worth £19million who is expected to replacing van der saar, Ashley young worth £16 million, to strengthening their midfield area. And the rising star worth £16 million, Phil Jones to cover Rio Ferdinand and Vida along with Johny Evans and Chris Smalling. Except De Gea, whose performance is still dobtfull, MU's overall spending is quite good so far. Reflected from their position in standing and also their game.

After heavy defeat from MU, Arsenal move fast and seems a little bit panic in transfer market. But, it also seems some good decision made. Arsenal has confirmed that they have agreed to sign Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun on a season-long loan deal. Benayoun moved to Liverpool in 2007, scoring 18 goals in 92 appearances for the Reds, before his switch to Premier League rivals Chelsea in July 2010. They also spent £10m for signing of Everton’s Mikel Arteta. And of course, for repairing their "broken" defensive line, they brought Mertesacker 26-year-old defender, who has appeared to defend Germany as much as 75 times. Together with Hannover 96 and Werder Bremen for five years in Bundesliga, tall defender has featured as many as 221 times and scored 19 goals.

Another big transfer in English Premier League done by Chelsea, Liverpool, and of course Manchester City. The Blues sign Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht for £19million, and again, they "hijacked" another Liverpudlian, Raul Meireles for £19million, the Blues also get Juan Mata from Valencia for £23.5million. Liverpool, has good enough transfer policy. Gaining Jordan Henderson, and Alexander Doni for backup of Pepe Reina. And it's result seems quite good for now. And Manchester City is of course the main actor, with Aguero and Nasri in their squad, they are seems to be the main competitor for their neighbour.

Let see what these people can do in their new club. With the amount of money involved, and controversy left from some of them in their transfer process during summer, their contribution should be commensurate with what their club paid for.
